futuro series comments:
lovely styling... so this is what you had in mind when you said you wanted blue textiles! came out nicely, something fresh in contrast to other concepts you've been feeding us (not that the earlier concepts weren't good).
ganda ng makeup which made me a bit conscious na i do your makeup when you pose for me, siguro you thought (anu ba yan, di pantay yung liner) i hate you!!!
anyway, more! more! more! i was planning a futuristic cyborg concept na self portrait but, mukha daw akong shaider so i changed my mind, hahaha! you pulled it off quite fantastically.
I have time to shoot but no funds, the perfect irony. But I can do shots which do not require dough. If I were you, have more varied concepts, more fresh faces then start your folio, I dont think it would hurt. folio lang naman, am not forcing you to try anywhere or have an instant exhibit. Folio lang folio lang, hehehehehe! Shhhh, folio nga lang eh!!!!

ok, first of all, this is the most interesting comment i got. this is what i've been wanting to hear, details!!! hahaha!!!
its not that i got tired of doing my usual style. but i think, for me to sustain "interest" with my "audience" i always have to think of something new to showcase. this is the "bulaga" part of my works hahaha! (i think i surprised them too much, that they ended up being silent hahaha!)
i don't really care if i get less comments & faves on this series as compared to my earlier works. but the feeling of i did something fresh and there are people who appreciate it (regardless of quantity) is enough to make me feel that this series was a success. and this has got to be my favorite so far.
im planning on another futuristic photo shoot, with an environmental & social awareness concept. though i don't have yet any idea when i could find again a time to do it. i hope i can really soon, as i am very excited.
im considering my own folio, but i don't really know where to start. hehehe!
To help inspire you this month, #project-improve and #ProjectComment have joined creative and collaborative forces to bring you 'An Image Is Worth A Thousand Words' Contest.
The theme of this contest is pretty much as the title states; we would like you to draw on inspiration for a piece of literature that coincides with an image of your choice. The extent of the involvement of the image is entirely up to you.
Both visual artists and writers can take part, so please read the article to find out more!
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
The sixth issue of Artistic Assortments is here! Featuring work from groups and my own personal favourites this week from the people I watch! Please fav the article if you like it, and if you want to get featured, scroll down to find out how.
If you're looking for a deviant to brighten up your day, look no further than `JurgenDoe. Jurgen's infectious enthusiasm and passion for deviantART is evident in all areas. His generous community spirit and positive energy have earned him a reputation within our community as being someone who is a role model to us all. Jurgen's eclectic gallery gives you a glimpse into his vibrant personality, and shows that he's not just good at cooking up a storm in the kitchen, but that he's always prepared to throw some devious spices into his artistic endeavours. So with a dash of hooray and a heaped spoonful of congratulations, we are delighted to present the Deviou... Read More
